  • Activity data: participation in events, leagues, votes, feed posts, messages

2. Google data we access and use

CompeFlow offers the option to sign in or register with your Google account. When you choose this option, we access the following data from your Google account:

Data accessed:

  • Unique identifier (sub): Google user ID to link your CompeFlow account with your Google account
  • Email: email address associated with your Google account
  • Name: full name or display name from your Google profile
  • Profile photo: URL of your Google account profile image (optional)

Use of Google data:

  • Account creation and authentication: We use email, name and photo to create or link your CompeFlow account and allow you to sign in securely without a password
  • Unique identification: The Google identifier (sub) is stored to associate your session with your profile and prevent duplicates
  • User profile: Name and photo are used to display your profile to other platform users (organizers, competitors, fans) in the context of events and leagues
  • Communication: Email is used for important notifications (account recovery, registration confirmations, system messages)
  • We do not sell or share your Google data with third parties for advertising or marketing. We only use it for the operation of the service

3. Data storage

Data is stored on secure servers. We use databases and hosting services that apply industry-standard security measures. Google data we collect (email, name, photo, identifier) is stored in our database along with the rest of your user profile. We do not store Google tokens or passwords; we only verify your identity at sign-in.

4. General use of data

We use the data collected to:

  • Provide and improve our services
  • Manage your account and authentication
  • Display your profile in events, leagues and rankings
  • Send relevant notifications (events, messages, achievements)
  • Analyze platform usage in aggregate (without identifying individual users)

  • With other users: Your name, photo, AKA and public activity are visible to the CompeFlow community (organizers, competitors, fans) in the context of events and leagues

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to keep your session active, remember preferences and improve the experience. We use Google Analytics for aggregate web traffic analysis. You can manage cookies from your browser settings.

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. If you signed in with Google, you can revoke CompeFlow access from your Google account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

We retain your data while your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within a reasonable period, except when we must retain it for legal obligations.
