Being assigned as judge

Who assigns you?

The organizer or admin of the event adds you as staff with the Judge role. You cannot self-assign.

How you find out

You'll receive a notification when assigned as judge for an event. It may say something like "You've been assigned as judge for [event name]".

What being a judge means

  • Filters: You'll score each MC in your group(s). If the event uses filter groups (A, B, C…), you may be assigned to all groups or only to specific ones.
  • Battles: You'll vote in each battle (winner, replica or points depending on format)

Requirements

  • Have a CompeFlow account
  • Be available on event day (or during filter/battle times)
  • Access to the app or web to vote

If you can't be a judge

If you were assigned but can't participate:

  1. Contact the event organizer
  2. Ask them to remove you from staff
  3. So they can assign another judge
