XP, achievements and medals

What are XP, achievements and medals?

In CompeFlow, your activity across the platform builds a visible progression history.

  • XP: points that accumulate through actions and participation
  • Achievements: milestones or notable actions the system records
  • Medals: the visual representation of those achievements in your profile

They are closely connected: the platform uses that history to show your progress, milestones and activity level.

What's the difference?

XP

XP is your accumulated score. It increases when you perform actions the platform recognizes, for example:

  • signing up for events
  • participating in filters or bracket
  • winning battles
  • advancing rounds
  • creating leagues or events
  • following users or leagues
  • completing staff, judge or host actions

Achievements

Achievements are milestones or notable moments recorded in your history, for example:

  • creating your first event
  • reaching a number of created events
  • registering for your first event
  • being assigned as a judge for the first time
  • winning an event
  • reaching quarterfinals, semifinals or the final

Medals

Medals are how those achievements appear visually in your profile. Each medal has:

  • a name
  • a description
  • an icon
  • a rarity

Medal rarities

Medals are grouped by rarity:

  • Common
  • Rare
  • Epic
  • Legendary

Your profile includes a summary showing how many medals you have in each rarity.

How you earn them

XP and medals are awarded automatically when you use the platform. You do not need to claim them manually.

As a competitor

You can earn progress by:

  • registering for an event
  • participating in filters
  • reaching bracket
  • competing in team format
  • winning a battle without replica
  • winning a battle with replica
  • advancing rounds
  • winning the full event

As an organizer

You can earn progress by:

  • creating your first league
  • creating events
  • reaching milestones like 5, 10, 20 or more events created

As a judge or staff member

You can earn progress by:

  • being assigned as a judge
  • scoring filter battles
  • voting bracket battles
  • participating as event staff
  • starting battles as host

As part of the community

You can also gain progress from social activity, such as:

  • following users
  • following leagues

Some medals unlock only once. Other actions can repeat and increase both the count and the total XP tied to that achievement type.

Where to find your achievements and medals

The main view is in My profile, inside the Achievements section.

There you will see:

  • total XP
  • total medals
  • rarity breakdown
  • a list of achievements with name, description, count and accumulated XP

In some cases the platform also shows extra context, such as:

  • round and opponent from a battle
  • the event where it happened
  • the team name for team-format participation

How they are ordered

Achievements are shown by prioritizing:

  1. medal rarity
  2. the most recent activity within each achievement type

That is why legendary and epic medals usually appear first.

Sharing achievements to the feed

From My profile you can share:

  • a single achievement
  • your full achievements summary

That creates a post in the feed for other users to see.

How this relates to your user card

Your user card shows a more compact summary:

  • total XP
  • highlighted medals
  • battle summary

The card is for quick visual sharing. The Achievements section in your profile is where you see the full detail.

Important

  • Achievements are not edited manually
  • They are generated from real actions recorded by the platform
  • If you do not have medals yet, keep participating in events, battles and community activity
